WHAT WE TEST:
40-Yard Dash with Flying 10 and 20 Splits
Measures acceleration, top-end speed, and the athlete’s ability to maintain speed throughout the sprint.
Max Velocity (MPH)
Captures the athlete’s highest recorded speed in miles per hour during the 40-yard dash, with no separate test required.
Pro Agility Shuttle (5-10-5)
Evaluates change of direction speed, braking ability, body control, and reacceleration.
Broad Jump
Measures horizontal lower-body power and explosiveness.
Vertical Jump
Measures vertical explosiveness and lower-body power.
Countermovement Jump Using VALD ForceDecks
Provides detailed insights into jump height, force production, power, and left-to-right asymmetries.
TESTING EQUIPMENT:
Testing is completed using VALD Performance equipment, including SmartSpeed timing gates and ForceDecks. VALD technology is trusted by teams in the NFL, MLB and NBA, as well as leading NCAA programs across major conferences.
